ReallySchool now has audio clips! This means you can record children’s learning orally and share this instantly with parents and carers. This will be a great tool in communicating with parents including those with EAl. Audio clips will also save you time writing down what a child has said word for word as you can record it on the go instead! You can add captions to your voice clip and skip forwards and backwards if you need to hear a specific part of the recording. As with any observation you can still add assessments, notes, photos etc. This is a great next step in evidencing and assessing children’s learning in a flexible and easy way! The sound quality on this is great which unfortunately meant I could hear my voice too clearly during testing! I would recommend using it not only for communication and language observations but any subject particularly for children who find it hard to communicate through writing. Give it a go and clearly show how well your pupils communicate.
