You can add a group note to explain the activity and add photos, videos or audio clips for guidance.

Additionally, you can choose to publish group evidence to all parents, so you can share your guidance easily with them. This can be for just one or multiple items. Select the sharing icon to do this or choose Publish Group Attachments to Parents from the observations menu.

Please note: if you select this option from the menu, it will publish all group attachments in that observation, whereas in the observation, you can switch this off and on for each individual attachment.

You can add individual notes, videos, photos and audio clips to give specific guidance.

Once a parent has added a contribution to a home learning activity, you will see a tick next to their child when viewing the activity. You can select the child, then Parent Note, to view their parent contribution.

You can select Review and then use the child’s individual notes to give feedback, such as notes and badges.

Additionally, you can add assessments to help you continue to monitor progress even when your pupils are not in school. You add assessments in the same way as for an observation, by selecting Assessments and checking the ones you want to add. As before, you can add/remove/change assessments for each pupil. Parents will not see these assessments, only the associated learning areas.

Once you no longer need parent contributions, you can then choose to Save or Post the observation so they can no longer make changes. Additionally, this means any assessments you have added will be included in reports and the activity will be added to the child’s journal.
