First, select Observations, then select the Baseline shortcut. Alternatively, you can choose to just select New Observation from the sidebar, or create a video/audio/photo-led observation.

(click on image to see enlarged view)

Then, select your class and students. You can choose to add your title, notes, photos etc. either now or later.

If you want to set a refinement, press ‘assessed’ to change it to Emerging, again for Developing, again for Expected and on ELGs again for Exceeding. If you select the wrong option, cycle back through to the one you want. Repeat the process for each student.  Tick to confirm when you have all the assessments you need.

Now, you can choose to add evidence to your observation as with a regular observation or you can use the tick in the corner to confirm the observation is complete.
