Detailed student view

This is a quick guide for how to quickly access a detailed student view on the ReallySchool app.

In an observation

One of the most useful ways to access the detailed student view is when creating an observation. This will help you spot learning gaps and address them, there and then.

First, select New observation.

Then add a title and choose your class.

Now, select the + Students button.

Next to each student, it will tell you how many observations they have. Once this number appears, you will be able to open the detailed student view.

Press and hold on a student’s avatar, then choose which framework you want to view.

Here, you will see each subject, how many assessments the pupil has in it and refinements as an overview. However, when you select the subject, this breaks down further and you can see which specific statements they have and have not achieved – with colour coding to show if a refinement was applied.

Accessing student view via a class

Another place to access this detailed student view is via a class.

From the dashboard, select the class of your choice.

Then, as before, once the number of observations has loaded for each student, press and hold on a student’s avatar for a detailed student view.
