Student Journals
This is a quick guide for how to access student journals on the ReallySchool app and portal.
There are two types of journals a teacher can generate.

*Group photos will be included, if the teacher has chosen to publish them to all parents in a particular observation.
Parents can only generate Parent Journals.
To download a Student Journal in the app, first select your class from the dashboard

Although you can access Student Journal in the same way as on the app, on the ReallySchool portal there is a Reports Dashboard. Here, you can access all your reports in one place and have the option to create multiple reports at once.
To download a journal, first, select Teacher Reports, then select Student Journals.

Parents can access their child’s journal via their own version of the ReallySchool app.
They can view a timeline of their child’s observations and home learning activities, play back videos and audio clips etc.
Then, if they select the elipsis menu, they can choose to download a PDF journal of their child’s observations and home learning activities. They can choose any filters they want to apply then download the document.
